About Us
The Purple Maids was born out of my desire to balance work with spending more time with my children. After the company I worked for relocated, I wanted to find a career that offered flexibility. It all started when a friend urgently needed help with house cleaning, and I quickly realized there was a whole industry centered around helping people maintain clean homes. I began by cleaning a few homes in the mornings, leaving my afternoons free for my kids. As word spread, more requests came in, and soon, I had to hire my first employee—who is still with us today. With my background, I understand the value of a clean, organized home for busy professionals, moms, and seniors alike.

Cleaning For A Reason
We are proud partners of Cleaning For A Reason, a nonprofit organization that provides free home cleaning to patients battling cancer. Our goal is to offer these patients a break from cleaning so they can focus on their health and healing. The Purple Maids is one of over 1,200 cleaning companies across the U.S. and Canada that participate in this program. Since 2006, Cleaning For A Reason has provided free home cleaning for more than 55,215 cancer patients and their families across all 50 states and Canada. These services are valued at more than $19 million.
